Spartanburg Water Tour

Join us for a tour to learn more about how we get clean water.  This tour is only for students ages 8 and up. This is for safety reasons since we will be touring a plant.  No children under 8, including babies that you wear, will be allowed.  I plan to have my mom take my son who is too young for a different fun activity that day.  They will not make exceptions.  

This tour is free, but to reserve your spots, I will be collecting a $3 donation per person.  These donations will be made to water.org, an organization that helps enable people to have access to clean water.  My children and I are learning about water and we felt this would be a great way to raise money to help others have clean water in the way that we are blessed to. Spots are limited to 30 students.  There will only be room for one adult per family. A waitlist will open when we reach capacity.  With a large enough waitlist, I can add another date for the tour. 

The tour will begin at 9:30 am promptly.  Please arrive by 9:20 am so that our group can be ready to start on time.  We are touring a business, so tardiness will not be accomodated.  Please remember that as group members, we each represent Homeschool Community of the Upstate.  Showing respect, courtesy, and appreciation for our venues means we have more opportunities for our group.  Each of us will be responsible for our own children.  It is important that we keep our children close because there are safety hazards and we must be able to prevent any boundary pushing that might put someone at risk.  

If you are unable to attend, it is imperative that you update your response on the event.  This will allow someone else to claim this spot. Refunds are not guaranteed, but may be made if someone can fill your spot.  This is because Spartanburg Water has minimum numbers to offer the tour, so cancellations could cause our whole group to miss out on the tour.
