About the event
Here comes the details! Please read EVERYTHING carefully!!! Ready, set...
Welcome crafters of all ages!!! The time has come to introduce and sell your wares to those shopping for awesome handmade and new gifts!! We have secured an AMAZING location in the heart of Spartanburg for this event. 1800 Drayton Catering and Events is located within the Drayton Mills Marketplace. The marketplace is home to many businesses, including Dray Bar & Grill, Pi-Squared Pizza, Holliday Brewing and Bella Latte! Next to the marketplace, hundreds of people call the Drayton Mills Lofts home! Residents frequently visit craft fairs and events within the marketplace, so our chances of high sales volumes at this event are GOOD!
This event will allow public shopping access = more customers! 1800 Drayton Catering & Events will help us to promote our event via their social media outlets! A limited amount of booth space will be provided. To apply for a booth space, please email SpartanburgHomeschoolers@gmail.com with a description and photos of your inventory. Please remember to list whether or not you are a homeschool family and if you would prefer an indoor or outdoor booth in your description.

***PLEASE READ THE FULL EVENT DESCRIPTION BEFORE SENDING YOUR APPLICATION!***
ALLOWED SALES ITEMS: A colorful spectrum of sales items are allowed, however we will not (of course) allow any illegal sales, including illegal drugs, weapons or firearms. (Gotta say it!) Food items, new and handmade items are allowed. We would like to keep this event classy, without the feel of a flea market or yard sale...so no used clothing, shoes, or household items for sale, please. Used books, toys, craft kits, science kits or curriculum in excellent, clean condition are allowed.
Once we receive your emailed application and you are approved, we will send a return email with details about payment to secure your space! Once payment is received, you will be assigned a booth space and given a map showing your booth's location.
10'x10' Booth Spaces for our homeschool family are $10 each. Homeschool families will be given top priority for booth space. This fee will 100% be used toward future homeschool events for our community. Outside vendors who are not homeschoolers will be asked to pay a $20 donation to secure a booth. Indoor and outdoor booth spaces are available. Outdoor booth spaces may want to consider bringing a pop-up tent/canopy for their booth space. An outdoor canopy is not required for outdoor spaces. Outdoor vendors are encouraged to bring tent weights, bricks, etc. to secure your canopy. Canopies will be set up on concrete (not soft Earth for tent stakes). You may request an indoor or outdoor booth space in your emailed application.
ALL VENDORS: Bring your own tables and chairs. No tables or chairs will be provided! If your booth needs a power outlet, please specify this when you register for your booth! Kids are encouraged to be the salesmen and saleswomen for their booths! Please bring your own change for cash sales. No change will be provided by the event venue or the businesses next to the venue. Vendors are encouraged to have their Venmo, Paypal, Cashapp, etc. sales information clearly displayed for digital sales.
We're thinking of you!!! Breast feeding moms can enjoy a quiet space in the venue's "Groom's Suite." This room is reserved specifically for breast feeding moms or Moms with infants. Please do not bring food into this room or allow children to play in the breastfeeding room. Please clean up after yourselves if you utilize this room.
BONUS: Enjoy chalk drawing and outdoor games on the plaza! We also hope (time and resources willing) to have a slideshow of photos from past events, trivia games and a surprise "creative game show" style event for all ages.
NOTE: Parents, you're responsible for your own children and their behavior. Please clean up your booth space at the end of the event! A broom and dustpan will be provided on site. Please place any trash in the provided trash cans.

APPLICATION CHECK LIST: (You may want to copy and paste this into your application email)
1. Are you a homeschool family? How long have you been homeschooling? Where do you live (town, city, etc.)?
2. Tell us about what you plan to sell at your booth, and a little bit about yourself/your kids!
3. Don't forget to attach a few photos of your sales products to this email. Individual photos of each item are not required. (Group them up and snap a pic!)
4. Have you followed our Instagram Page? @UpstateSCHomeschoolers
5. Do you have your own Instagram Page? Would you like for us to tag you on our Instagram page? (Remember to email any photos you would like to have featured of your products on our Instagram page.)
6. Remember that you will need to bring your own tables, chairs, cash, power cords, etc. (Everything you need to be self-sufficient at your booth).
7. Would you prefer an indoor our outdoor booth? (First come, first boothed!)
8. Remember that Outdoor booths may want to bring their own pop-up canopy and leg weights/bricks. (encouraged)
9. Keep it classy! No questionable, used items, please.
