Walnut Grove Historic Site

Come tour the oldest home in Spartanburg County. Students will be divided into a younger group and an older one. Students 8 and under will learn about colonial toys, and students 9 and up will learn about writing with a quill, folding a letter into it's own envelope, and creating a wax seal. All students will tour the home and grounds , as well as have access to a nature trail that leads to the family graveyard. Following the tour and activity, you may enjoy a picnic lunch and explore the grounds until 12:45. The gift shop will also be open during this time. The cost for students is $6. Cost for adults is $5. Children 2 and under are free.

Please arrive no later than 10 am. Tickets are non-refundable, but if you find you are unable to attend, you are welcomed to transfer your tickets to someone else in the group.
