SYT's Rainbow Fish

Enjoy Spartanburg Youth Theatre's production of Rainbow Fish! 

Adapted by Austin Zumbro, from the book written and illustrated by Marchus Pfister, translated by J. Alison James  

With shiny, multi-colored scales, Rainbow Fish is the most beautiful fish in all of the ocean, and the only one of his kind.  But when Rainbow Fish refuses to share his vibrant, shimmering scales, the whole ocean seems to turn against the vain creature.  Unhappy that no one adores him anymore, the Rainbow Fish seeks out the wise Octopus, who helps him learn that it’s far better to be admired for being kind than for being beautiful.   ​  

Age Recommended: Most enjoyed by children 4 and up  Approximate Run Time: 45 minutes (no intermission)

Cost is $10 per student with one free parent per family. Additional adults will cost $10. The theatre will require a ticket for all children. In order to get your free parent ticket, you will enter the coupon code FREEPARENT at checkout.

You will need to arrive by 12:15 at the latest so that the group can go in together. Meet at the front courtyard. Parking is on the left side of the building next to the parking garage. If that lot is full, you can use the parking garage for free. You may not park in the parking lot on the right side of the building next to Barnet Park. This is where buses drop off and pick up. Your car will be blocked in if you park here.

Tickets will not be refundable. You may transfer your tickets to another member if you find you are unable to attend. It will be your responsibility to handle this.
