About the event
This program is an intro to the states of matter. Students will make a lava lamp as a hands-on way to learn about density, solubility, chemical reactions, and the states of matter. Program is for K-3rd grade, and will be divided into two groups where one is primarily K-1st, and the other 2nd-3rd (this is at the parent's discretion, and if you'd rather keep siblings together, you may do so).
K-1st does the program at 11AM, and 2nd-3rd at 11:45AM, and we can tour the museum at our own pace after your program. Each program is 45 mins,

$5.50 per student taking a class (includes student group admission)
Siblings that are not participating in the class, & adults, pay admission to the science center.
