SkyTop Orchard Field Trip

Fall field trip overlooking the mountains!

Join us for a wagon ride through the orchard, an educational talk on growing and picking  apples, and a u-pick experience to take home: 3 lb bag of apples per student.

SkyTop also has a big playground, an animal barn, and a bamboo forest, that are FREE.  

At extra cost (paid directly to them when you're there) these attractions are also availabe: Apple Cannon ($7.00/8 Apples), Gem Mine (priced by bucket size), Bee Train ($4).

Please arrive NO LATER than 11:00AM AT check-in, so that your kids do not miss the trip (you may not be able to catch-up to us if you arrive late).  Meet at the big covered pavilion, their education center.  Because of the drive, and parking, I highly suggest arriving earlier than 11AM, and letting the kids on the playground, to make sure you don't miss the group due to some delay on the way.

$9.00 per child ages 3 & up

$9.00 per adult

Ages 2 & under are free.

This is a stop on our fall farm hop (more info coming soon), though you do not have to be registered for that to do this field trip.

DINING: Picnic facilities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are not reserved for groups. You are also welcome to bring picnic blankets!  Treats & drinks are available in the store, pack-in any lunch you want to bring.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer them to another homeschooling family, if you are unable to come.

Please note that excessive no shows to events, can result in a member not being able to register for an event for awhile, as it can effect our relationship with venues.

SKYTOP'S INCLEMENT WEATHER & RAIN POLICY:

Because Sky Top Orchard is located on a mountain, our weather is often different than the forecast may suggest or than it may be at your school. Depending on the day, we usually suggest that groups keep their initial tour date, because other days fill quickly. In order to provide the best experience for all groups, we try to limit the amount of groups on each date. If necessary, Sky Top will make every effort to reschedule your group into an alternate mutually agreed upon date.
