About the event
It's been 4 years since our last field trip here, and a good time to refresh on safety!
The kids will learn fire safety skills, like what to do in the event of a fire, & how to recognize & not hide from, a firefighter coming to their aid. They also typically get to try on fire fighting gear, sit in a fire truck, and take home fire safety activities (& often fun surprises).
Last time, we brought thank you cards & drawings to present to the fire fighters! If you'd like to do something like that again, please do!
COST: Free
Only register if you are for sure coming, as there is limited space, and the fire dept. spends time & resources preparing the take home safety kits, so giving them an accurate headcount respects their time. If you can't come after registering, please let us know as soo…
