NERF NineCraft! NERF BATTLE #9!

The Notorious Nerf Battle continues, once again, at the TW Edwards Community Center!  This time, we are giving a nod to a popular video game (You know the one) for our NINTH Nerf battle! As always, our NERF battles feature industrial strength blacklights, a professional grade, low-lying fog machine and a high-energy musical soundtrack!

Cost: $15 per participating player (Plus site fee of $0.38)-- OR-- Cash on site, at the door the day of the battle.

Ages 8+ only, please.  Parents do not need to purchase a ticket.

    Players will engage in a free play Nerf Battle themed by the popular video game, Minecraft!

    Bullets, eye protection, exercise mats, blacklights, a professional grade, low-lying fog machine and inflatable obstacles will be provided.

    Music will be a mix of (clean) Rock and Roll music.

Nerf guns will NOT be provided, however, we always bring a few backups for unfortunate misfiring weaponry.  Please bring your own LABELED Nerf gun. (NO RIVAL GUNS!) Please wear attire that will be safe to run, flip, and jump around in! Closed toed shoes only, please!  A water fountain is on site for you to fill your own water bottles.  A "Safe Room" will be available for players to take a break from the excitement, as needed.  No firing of weaponry is allowed in the safe room.  Most players like to use the safe room for communicating team strategy. Bleachers are provided for parents to watch the battle.  A separate room is also available for parents who would prefer a quieter workspace while their children play.  PLEASE NOTE:  Parents MUST remain on site during the battle.  NO DROP OFFS are allowed.  Parents will also be asked to sign a waiver upon arrival.  This waiver protects the TW Community Center and the organizers of this event and asks the parent to acknowledge that this is a battle and that Nerf guns fire projectiles which will be aimed at participants.  The organizers will do their best to make sure all participants follow the below rules for ultimate safety!

RULES OF PLAY:  (The rule list will be read before the battle begins and will be posted in multiple areas of the gym.)

    No head shots!  Do not try to shoot other players in the head or face!

    Wear your face or eye protection AT ALL TIMES!

    No rival guns allowed!  No modified (Powerful, unsafe firing) Nerf guns allowed.  Decorative modifications are OK!

    Make sure your athletic shoes are tied. No jewelry.

    No stealing from the forts of other teams!

    Players are not allowed to tear down, vandalize or destroy the forts of other teams.

    Don't be a bully.  Respect other players.

    No physical take downs. Keep your hands to yourself.

    Leave the arena with your labeled gear.

    Be a good sport.  Have fun!

Note:  Parking is allowed in front of the TW Edwards Community Center and in the parking lot across the street from TW Edwards in the Pacolet Police Department's Parking Lot.
