About the event
This is the second set of programs we have at the science center, this date has the 4th-5th (kids a little older than 5th are welcome), as well as the K-3rd program (primarily for younger siblings of the kids taking the 4th-5th class, but also open to others).
11AM: Microscopic Mystery (4th-5th+ grade)
Introduces students to the use of a microscope through an interactive mystery.
11:45 AM: Solids, Liquids, & Gasses (K-3rd grade)
This program is an intro to the states of matter. Students will make a lava lamp as a hands-on way to learn about density, solubility, chemical reactions, and the states of matter.Â
We can tour the museum at our own pace after your program. Â Each program is 45 mins,
COST
$5.50 per student taking a class (includes student group admission)
Siblings that are not participating in the class, & adults, pay admission to the science center.
• $5.00 for siblings, & adults
• ages 4 & under are free
Please arrive 15 mins prior to start time to be sure to check-in in time to not miss the class.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer them to another homeschooling family, if you are unable to come.
Please note that excessive no shows to events, can result in a member not being able to register for an event for awhile, as it can effect our relationship with venues.
