LEGO Masters Challenge & Derby

We're hosting our own LEGO Masters challenge!!! And, we're gonna ham this up as much as possible, to make it fun like the show.

Older kids can take part in the challenge, where they'll work on individual components of a team project (we will vote on theme), while the younger kids construct & race LEGO derby cars. We will also have a wooden train set out, for the tiny ones to play with.

You as the parent can decide which age group your child fits into best, but just keep in mind that the challenge is for kids old enough to build a themed project in a team setting, and little kids wanting to play might make that harder for them. For your reference, I think the average age will be 6-7 & up.

$1 per child. This is literally to get all the children a trophy for their hard work, in LEGO Masters fashion, otherwise this is a free event.

Bring your own legos to build with for the challenge; legos & wheels for the derby. The do sell derby specific wheels, but most wheels should work fine for this purpose, so those are optional. We will have separate stations for group of kids to avoid mixing lego collections much, but it's always possible some mixing may occur.

Total can be sent via PayPal or Venmo to CarrieAllie@aol.com, by Feb. 10th, so I can order them. Please let me know if cost is an issue.

If you have leftover LEGO party supplies, or any LEGO decor you don't mind sharing to make the place look cool, please let me know. Also, still looking for someone who can really have fun acting out the "tv host" sort of roll.
