Kings Mountain National Battlefield Tour

Join us for a fun free field trip to kick off our Kings Mountain Campout. This trip will begin at 10 am in the Visitor's Center. We will watch a 30 min video, then we will head out for a weapons demo. Following the demo, we will take a 1 1/2 guided tour of the battlefield. If you have younger students or those whose attention won't hold up, there is a Jr. Ranger activity that can be completed on the trail. It will offer a more hands on option. After the tour, you can enjoy the museum and then we can picnic together. This trip is free, however, they will prepare according to the numbers I give them. We must be sure to keep our numbers updated. No shows will be noted and multiple no shows affects your ability to participate in the free events. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your RSVP, and any cancellations the week of, please attempt to fill your spot. The park will have already scheduled people based upon our numbers by then, so it affects them and our group when you do not show. Thanks!
