About the event
This trip will begin at 9:30 am at Historic Brattonsville. Â The cost is $6 per person. Money must be collected ahead to hold our spots. To register visit the event on Facebook. Â
The primary group for Sheep and Sheers is geared toward preK-2. Â The older group is for upper elementary to middle school. Â There is much to see at this location that is not part of the programming, so students will have lots to stay busy while doing the self-guided portion. Â Both groups should be finished by about 12:30. There are places available to picnic. Â They are first come, first served, but shouldn't be difficult to find a spot. Â There is a nice children's museum in the area, so if you wanted to make a day of it, you could head there after lunch. Â
It's important to remember that the $6 is ONLY entrance to one program so if you have students who are attending both you will have to split or pay extra to stay in both. Â I plan to let my older do the programming with a friend while I stay with the younger. Â Also, important to note, the cutoff for this trip is 60 including adults. Â
There are horses and sheep on the farm, so it should be a fun spring on the farm trip! Look forward to exploring and learning with you all!
