COST: $8/student (5 and older); $4/student (ages 3 & 4); $4/adult

FIELD TRIP PREPARATION: Field trips take place outdoors. Participants can expect to walk up to 1 mile. Children and adults should dress appropriately for weather conditions. If the high temperature for the day will be over 70 degrees please allow students to bring water bottles or provide water for them.

LUNCH: Participants should bring their own lunch if choosing to stay at the park to eat lunch after our Habitat Hunt.

PLAYGROUND: All groups are welcome to stay past the end time for their field trip and play on the playground. Conestee Nature Preserve does not manage the playground, therefore we can not guarantee access.

WEATHER CONDITIONS: CNP will make weather-related cancellation decisions the morning of the program. In the event of cancellation, we will call your contact by 7:30am.  COVID PROTOCOLS As a science-based organization, we are continually monitoring and striving to follow all CDC guidance.

All of our classes are taught entirely outdoors, where the chances of COVID-19 transmission are drastically reduced.

We make every effort to maintain distance, and when that cannot be achieved, to reduce the amount of time children are in close proximity to less than 15 minutes, per guidelines.

Anyone who wants to wear a mask is encouraged to do so. Should your group prefer increased protocols, our fully vaccinated staff is happy to accommodate your request.
