About the event
Choose from one of two science labs:
Light and Color (ages 8–12)
In this lab, students will:
• Learn about the electromagnetic spectrum and how we see color.
• Explore light, color, and diffraction by building a spectroscope.
• Design and build a kaleidoscope.
• Investigate how light can play tricks on our eyes.
Magnetism and Electricity (ages 8–12)
In this lab, students will:
• Discover how electricity and magnets can work together.
• Use simple materials to create and test your own “battle bot.”
Please arrive NO LATER than 9:15AM to check-in, so that your kids do not miss the class.
COST
$13.00 per student
CANCELLATION POLICY
Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer them to another homeschooling family, if you are unable to come.
Please note that excessive no shows to events, can result in a member not being able to register for an event for awhile, as it can effect our relationship with venues.
