About the event
Come join us as we travel to the moon, and complete a mission with your friends! You and your student will complete a mission inside a space capsule where they will each have a job to complete! Next, they will move to mission control and work to help those that are on mission to complete it. After that, they will learn about rockets and their forces, and complete a straw rocket lab. Here they will make their own rocket, and test them using their air compressor to see which one goes the farthest! Lastly, they will get a lesson in aviation, and will conduct a flight simulator, where they will have to fly their plane to safety.
This amazing experience is held at The Challenger Learning Center of Richland County School District One at 2600A Barhamville Road, Columbia SC 29204. The age recommendation is elementary and up. You can bring…
