Denver Downs

Bring the whole family to enjoy all the fun Denver Downs has to offer! From corn maze to cow train to mega slide to zip line, there is something for all ages, even Mom and Dad! This will be a private event just for homeschool families and their friends and family. Tickets are $16 per person ages 2 and up. Under 2 is free. 

4th Annual Art Show

Our 4th Annual HOMESCHOOL ART SHOW will be held in conjunction with the fall fun event at Denver Downs in Anderson!

We are SO excited to announce this year’s categories -- and we hope the kids have the absolute best time creating their art!! 

We're going to have different areas set up under cover at Denver Downs, for students to exhibit 3 CATEGORIES OF ART:

CATEGORY 1: Ocean Themed Art

In keeping with this year’s group theme, students can bring a canvas (up to 11" x 17") and decorate it using any medium they would like to create an ocean themed art piece!

CATEGORY 2: 3-D Art 

The sky is the limit. Make any type of 3-D art your child’s heart desires. A ship, statue, lego art, and more will all be displayed together at the art show! 

CATEGORY 3: Artists Choice

Students can bring a canvas (up to 11x17”), of any piece of art they would like to display. This can be newly created, a favorite piece from years past, or somewhere in between!

Student Artists are invited to exhibit in one or more of the 4 categories above (up to 2 entries per student). 

This year, we will be providing butcher block paper on each table as well as markers, the students (or parent) will be able to write their name, age, and the title of their art piece right on the table in front of their art.

ADMISSION FEE FOR EXHIBITING ARTISTS: NONE, the purchase of a ticket to Denver Downs will cover this cost. When purchasing your Denver Downs tickets, please select free tickets for the categories in which your children wish to display their art work. Please make sure to select these tickets so we know how much space to prepare.

Food Trucks

There will be a food truck at the event. More details coming soon and we will update as we have more info.

Free School Photos

 Photographer Kaylie Woodley will be taking FREE school photo and family portrait sittings. School photos can be included in the yearbook for free and families will have the option to purchase from the photographer.

Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of inclement weather, if the venue cancels, we will attempt to reschedule. If unable to reschedule, refunds will be issued. Otherwise, if you find you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to another homeschool family.
