About the event
Our trip this school year has us traveling back in time to experience the lives of early settlers, & colonists (feel free to dress the part ).
Portions of the trip are priced separately, so that you can choose which parts you would like your family to do. We have two days of admission to Colonial Williamsburg available, as that is the suggested amount of time needed to get to see it all. The first day has an optional tour that is meant to let the group experience what daily life would be like back then. Both days have evening programs, one night you can enlist in the Continental Army, and the other you can attend a Colonial Dance.
The deadline for purchasing the admission portion is December 1st.

4/23 18th Century Life Tour
April 23, 9AM. Colonial Williamsburg admission is required to attend this tour. Journey back with us and explore everyday life, work, and play in 18th century Williamsburg. Your tour will give them a feel for what their life would have been like had they lived here then. You may join in hands-on activities such as drawing water from a well, trying on period fashions or possibly even assemble a bucket. April 23, 9am-12pm (likely they will ask us to be there 15 mins early).

4/23 Colonial Dance
April 23, 7PM. Add-on program. The separately purchased admission to Colonial Williamsburg is also REQUIRED to participate. Virginians will dance or die," wrote an 18th-century diarist. What better time than the 21st century to learn a few "new" dance steps and experience one of the favorite pastimes of colonial Virginians. Learn about different types of popular dances, discover the role of dance in 18th-century society, and perhaps participate in the fun.

April 24, 7PM. Add-on Program. The separately purchased admission to Colonial Williamsburg is also REQUIRED to participate. Enlist in the Continental Army at the Magazine. Become a new recruit and see what it was like to be a soldier in the 18th century.
